which version are you?
Attributes were introduced in FDMEE PSU1 (I think) and they are working now as standard columns. By default they are not displayed but you can configure your data grid in Data Load Workbench in order to show attribute columns.
They are not displayed as legacy FDM any more.
Hope that clarifies
I am on 22.214.171.124. I configured the columns in data load workbench and I can see the attributes there. But how do I see in the ERPI landing page when I drill down to ERPI from the data form?
That functionality has recently introduced in FDMEE 126.96.36.199.510 so it is not available for previous releases.
Please mark this question as correct so others can see it.
Drill through details page shows attributes with column names "Attribute 1", "Attribute 2", etc. Is it possible to alter these names to have something meaningful?
It would be useful in case of loading attributes from different sources.
P.S. Old FDM had abilty to assign names to these columns
Which version are you?
Have you defined in your import format column names for attribute dimensions?
you can set there the names you want to see in drill page
It means I have to alter application structure. I wanted to use attributes for drill through only. Is there the other way to alter the names?
You just have to update names in the import format (first column).
These are aliases for your columns.
I cannot add these attributes in Import format .Is it because of they are not in Planning outline?
Which is your source?
if you are loading data from file, just go to your import format > Add > Attribute Row
I am using custom Adaptor and Add option is not available in this case.
In case of flat file Attribute columns are still shown as Attribute 1,2,3 instead of defined source names.Looks like names supported for Dimensions only
Please, next time open a new thread as we are discussing on a already closed thread with different topic.
With custom adaptor I guess you mean Open Interface Adapter? If so, you have to import data into attribute columns in the open interface table.
Regarding attribute columns, this a known issue. Data Load Workbench will show Attribute 1, Attribute 2... There is already an enhancement request for that.
However, attribute aliases you use in the import format definition, are displayed in the Drill-Through page.
