try to start the installation in verbose mode.
install solaris use verbose mode
it stop in the screen

Your mainboard is not the only model that is affected by this behavior.
Could you try to add the following kernel parameter in Grub to disable the ACPI :
I try add options -B acpi_user_options=0x2
but the error is same!
I also ran into the similar installation problem about the solaris 11.2beta.On the same hardware,I have install solaris 11/11.1 successfully.But I failed to install the solaris11.2beta. At the same time,I can install it on vmware player successfully.It is weird!!!
