    rebuild oracle text  parameters

    spur230

      Hi all,

      After  rebuild  oracle context index. Its parameter is not shown.

      drop table tmp;

      create table tmp (col1 varchar2(20));

      create index idx  on tmp (col1)   INDEXTYPE IS CTXSYS.CONTEXT PARAMETERS('SYNC (on commit)');

      SELECT dbms_metadata.get_ddl('INDEX', 'IDX') FROM DUAL;

      gives:

      "

        CREATE INDEX "SABIN"."IDX" ON "SABIN"."TMP" ("COL1")

         INDEXTYPE IS "CTXSYS"."CONTEXT"  PARAMETERS ('SYNC (on commit)')"

      alter index idx rebuild

      SELECT dbms_metadata.get_ddl('INDEX', 'IDX') FROM DUAL;

      gives:

      "

        CREATE INDEX "SABIN"."IDX" ON "SABIN"."TMP" ("COL1")

         INDEXTYPE IS "CTXSYS"."CONTEXT" "

      How can I fix this behavior such that parameters clause is not skipped after text index rebuild?
