    Scheduling PS Data Archival Process

      Hi All,

      Is there any way PS delivered data archival process(PSARCHIVE) can be scheduled? Can you please let me know how it can be done? If it can be scheduled, how would the bind value(batch num)be passed to the "Deletion" process - would that be required to be updated by a separate process?

       

      Your inputs would be much appreciated.

          Looks like there is no way the archival process can be automated - since batch number is found to vary with each run, a custom process would have to be written to fetch the most recent batch number from PSARCHBATCH for an archival ID- this custom process can probably be specified in the Post AE section of an archival template.

           

          Hope this would be of use to somone looking forward to automate PeopleSoft Data Archival Process.
