Securing Oracle Streams ... Some guidance

I have been through the various streams documentation without finding an answer to my question, hence I am I look forward to being directed to the right place.

I have two database servers with Oracle (11g R2) streams setup where one is publisher and the other is a subscriber (Read-only), one-way replication. The databases are in remote datacentres and data will be travelling over the network therefore im trying to secure/encrypt the data transferred.

I have done a bit of research on streams security which talk about Transparent Data Encryption (TDE) for replicating encrypted columns which is not what im looking for, I also looked at advanced queue security which does seem what im looking for.

      Any ideas?
