- Is it possible to have the timecard list automatically default to the most recent at top of list? - Use the the timecard preference - Self Service Timecard Period for Worker - Default Timecard Period can be set to- 'Period on or after system date' value. This should reoslve the issue.
- What is the purpose of the Transferred To column? - when timecard hours are transferred to projects by running to PRC Import process the transferred column changes to Projects.
if the timecard hours are sent to payroll. It changes to payroll. If both are done - it chnages to payroll,projects.
Here is the solution for Quesiton #1
You need to increase the numer of future pay periods you can see through Self Service. US OTL Application Developer -> Preferences. Here find the preference Timecard Editing Allowed or something similar. Change the OTL Preference value "Future Number of days" to beyond 2 pay periods, example 180 days. Unfortunately create timecard page is the only place where the accrual balances are shown from within OTL.

With personalizations turned on, Click on personalize "Recent Timecards List".
Click on Personalize Pencil (Icon) "Advanced Table: Recent Timecards "
Down below find the Query row, Click on the pencil icon.
Here Select First Sort as Column "Period Ending"
