We're in the process of migrating from a standalone instance to RAC. To minimize downtime we're planning on upgrading our standalone to 12c, then have our 12c RAC stood up as a physical standby. Once the standby is caught up we'll do a switchover and shutdown the original primary.
Question - is it possible to have a DG configuration with non-cdb primary and a CDB with 1 PDB standby?
Data Guard is set up at the Container level and not the individual Pluggable database level.
So the redo log files only belong to the Container database.
The individual pluggable databases do not have their own online redo log files.
