    psrinfo  output

I just ran a psrinfo -pv   on a T-3 server  running  Solaris 10update 9  with kernel Generic_144488-17 It  threw the error

psrinfo: Physical processor view not supported

The command is working on another  T-3 server having the same Solaris and kernel version and configuration

Looks like psrinfo takes its output from the kstat  and particularly chip_id to report the  number of physical cpus

In this case for some reason the chip_id  reported by kstat  is -1 which might be the reason why psrinfo is not working

But why is kstat  reporting  chip_id as -1 Does any patch need to be applied for this

      Appreciate  any information
