    What system type I'm running?

      Hi, ALL,

      First of all: I am not sure if my question belongs in this forum. If not, please forgive me and move.

      Now to the question.

      I recently installed Solaris 11.1 and then on top I installed Solaris Studio 12.3. I also installed Motif libraries thru the Package manager.

      The next thing I want to do is to build and check the wxWidgets library under Motif toolkit.

      I grabbed the latest SVN sources of the library and tried to configure. Here is the output of the first couple of lines:

      igot@solaris:~/wxWidgets/buildMotif$ ../configure --with-motif --enable-debug --enable-debug_gdb

      checking build system type... i386-pc-solaris2.11

      checking host system type... i386-pc-solaris2.11

      <many different configuration options snipped>

      Now my question is;:

      Is my installation 32-bit or 64-bit? How do I check it? I'm just curious, not just it matters

      From this output it looks like I have 32-bit OS installation with 32-bit compiler, but I just want to make sure.

      Thank you.
