    can I expdp CTXSYS schema?

      Env: Oracle 11gR2 ( on OL 6.2 64bit on filesystem

      I created a new database, did a full "expdp" of PROD and imported it into the new database. I found that CTXSYS schema was missing. I tried to export it separately but I get following messages:

      $ expdp system schemas=ctxsys directory=DUMP_DIR dumpfile=ctxsys%u.dmp logfile=ctxsys.log filesize=5g

      It seems that this schema cannot be exported. The schema does exist and I noticed that all of its objects are in SYSAUX tablespace. Is it one of Oracle's internal schemas?

      Please advise what the issue and is and what is the solution.

      Best regards
