    Better way to handle

      Hi All,

       

      I am trying to write a copy script as below .. Please let me know if there is a better way to handle this

       

      FIX(YEAR,Product.na,all periods,AccountABC,Geography.none,BS.NA,CurrencyUSD

      DATACOPY  "Scenario.None"->"AVGYTD" to &SCENARIO->"Periodic";

      DATACOPY "Scenario.None"->"YTD" to   &SCENARIO->"YTD";

      DATACOPY "Scenario.None"->"QTD" to &SCENARIO->"QTD";

      DATACOPY "Scenario.None"->"HYTD to &SCENARIO->"HYTD";

      ENDFIX;

          You can try this:



          FIX(YEAR,Product.na,all periods,AccountABC,Geography.none,BS.NA,CurrencyUSD)

          DATACOPY  "Scenario.None"->"AVGYTD" to &SCENARIO->"Periodic";


          FIX("YTD","QTD","HYTD")

          DATACOPY "Scenario.None" to &SCENARIO;


          ENDFIX

            Hi,

             

            Are You looking to copy data for a particular Financial year->all Product to a Base currency USD? or a specific product alone do you want copy the data.Are you using a period as a seperate dimension which has 5 childrens AVGYTD,YTD,QTD,HYTD,Periodic or is it a part of Time dimension .Confirm?

              Hi Hariharan,

              Only for specific product and specific year, Period dimesnion is seperate .  AVGYTD,YTD,QTD,HYTD,Periodic these members come under other custom dimension
