How you are adding portal resource back? Are you using share library to deploy your task flow. If yes, then that shared library needs to be undeployed from the server and new shared library with new changes should be created and deployed to server and made available to the portal.
If you created custom Task flow and it is deployed on webcenter spaces and working fine.If you add new fragment to navigate to new page.I dnt thnk u need to change in desginWebCenterSpaces. Just undeploy current app and deploy again. It should show ur changes
Hi, Thanks for your inputs. However This is Webcenter 220.127.116.11 Spaces Portal and not the Framework application. We are using this for our iterative asset development. I am trying to figure out how to fix the scenario I questioned in this application.
Yeah understood, but here also you will be creating PortalServerExtension project right where Task flow will be created.Right?
Am not having a portal extension project. I am creating the task flow in the deployed portal application and then downloading the taskflow inside the DesignWebcenterspaces application and then trying to make changes to it i.e. add a new view and then upload it back to the server.
I didn't read all but I think that you are talking about MDS Task Flows that are created in the MDS PATH.
These Task Flows are intended to be used when just consuming EL Expressions or can be built without custom Java.
Regarding to your issue check following:
- Export the MAR file and check if the new jsff is inside.
- If the JSFF is not inside it means that your fragment is not stored in a MDS Path.
My recommendation is to put TF and fragments in the same MDS Path folder.
I hope this info helps.
Thanks Daniel. Is this a Bug in the product or is this designed to be worked like this, that anytime we create a custom taskflow and if we need to add new page fragments to it, we have to manually export the newly added page fragments and the updated the taskflow definition file in the MDS.

The best way to create task flows and use it in Portal is to create an ADF library consisting of the task flow and deploy it into the managed server where the app's running. Refer the whitepaper below for detailed steps—http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/webcenter/portal/learnmore/wcp-createcustomtaskflow-2135965.pdf
Thank Pathy. The information in white paper is really helpful and useful.
