The error should specifiy the member with the problem. Open the outline, and perform a find on that member. The results will show you all instances of the member. In this case, you will see the shared one first. Double clicking on the members in the results tab will bring you directly to that member where you can modify the storage setting.
One of the two or both must be corrected in the way you have built the Essbase Outline .
As said by other user , Shared member must exist only down the Hierarchy of the Original Member .
Also , In ASO , Shared member can occur only once in a Stored Hierarchy .
For Ex :
- C2 (Shared C1)
- C3 (Shared C1)
In this scenario , you will get an error because only one shared member is allowed under B , but there is two.
