    IRM to on non-unicode databases

      Hello all,

Is it possible to run successfully the IRM on non-unicode databases ?

I read somewhere that Oracle only delivers the required ancestor repositories and seed data in unicode format.

Is it true ? How to proceed ?

      Thanks and Regards

For V8.1.1.11 IRM process, you should be able to use non-unicode fine

according to doc, you can specify the database encoding and it does not specifically say Unicode

"Database Encoding Indicate whether your database uses a Unicode code page."

Let us know where you obtained the information about ancestor repositories required to be imported in unicode format.
