Yes, there is a way.. in LDAP provider details change the GUID Attribute name depending upon the LDAP provider you are using..
i hope you are using uid if yes then replace it with nsuniqueid and restart the services and see how it goes. with 22.214.171.124.7 things changed with respect to GUID
Hi Christian Berg ,
I have used the same process as per blog. Presentation server would not restart after updating instance config file
We have set up the GUID attribute in ldap configuration as mail? so wat value should i change this to?
replace it with nsuniqueid and restart the services
you can leave the user name attribute as uid/mail/cn but change the GUID attribute as mentioned above
If you have followed that blog post then you will see that this is normal:
"4. Restart the Oracle BI Server and Presentation Services using opmnctl:
./opmnctl stopproc ias-component=coreapplication_obips1
./opmnctl stopproc ias-component=coreapplication_obis1
./opmnctl startproc ias-component=coreapplication_obis1
After you confirm that the Oracle BI Server is running, then start Presentation Services:
./opmnctl startproc ias-component=coreapplication_obips1
Wait for coreapplication_obips1 to be in status first "Alive" then "Down" after a while.
Once coreapplication_obips1 had executed GUIDs update, it is exiting."
Then it continues through steps 5-7 where you UNSET the changes again and then restart the services.
You have to follow the complete blog post - which by the way is also in the original documentation - and not simply stop halfway trough.
