    Refresh outline error in HP 11.1.2.3

    887164

      Hi All,

      While doing the HP 11.1.2.3 database refresh outline, i am getting the below error frequently. For a workaround solution, we restarting the Planning services.

      "Failure of Server APACHE bridge:

      No backend server available for connection timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF or method not idempotent

      I have checked the below Planning registry values.

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->Software->Hyperion Solutions->HyperionPlanning->HyperionS9Planning JVMOption13 –Xms1048m

      JVMOption14 –Xmx4096m

      Did anyone faced the above issue?

          Have you checked the planning logs to see if it gives anymore indication to why the planning web app is crashing.

          Cheers

              Have you checked is the host name in listner.ora?

              Also try adding hostname and IP Address is Host file.

              Thanks,

                Does this error occur at the time of the refresh taking place, if it does then the database connection must be working before the refresh takes place and maybe it is an issue with the number of processes or sessions allowed on the Oracle database side.

                Cheers

                  Hi John,

                  Thank you for your prompt reply.

                  I am getting the above error, while refreshing the database outline. Please let me know what is the default value for oracle Process & session for each schema. Where i can find this information.
