Did you installed Reporting and Analysis Server Components. Then there is a common place called Workspace. Normally accessed through http://localhost:19000/workspace/index.jsp ( I am not sure where you have installed and configured ). Please specify what are the Hyperion Components you installed, that will help us to guide you in a better way
I have installed
Reporting and Analysis
My workspace URL looking like
but its not opening up always telling that webpage not available.
All services are up and running.
Not sure whats going wrong.
I have reinstalled product with
SQR Production Reporting
and I able to start the services and can see workspace window.
Please give me an idea on how to add SQR reports to this Workspace pages.
FYI: I have created and executed my SQR reports in my user folder in the windows machine.
Thanks for sharing pdf .
After reading this I came to know that SQR jobs can be run in workspace and generated outputs can be published on same.
But I dont see anywhere option to create jobs for SQR programs in both SQR Studio and Workspace interface. In the document it was mentioned that jobs can be created in SQR Studio but I did not find the way to do this .
Please guide me on creating SQR jobs so that I can import these jobs to workspace and proceed as per document instructions.
Also tell me the workspace physical storage location. I am assuming below location but the content is missing here whatever visible in workspace interface .I tried creating folder here and do not see in below location.
You could create SQR report either writing in a notepad using the scripts and then renaming the file to .sqr (which can be run through SQR server or studio) or through Production Reporting Studio (SQR studio).
For SQR Studio documentation check : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40248_01/epm.1112/pr_user_vol1.pdf which will help you.
Also refer Reporting and Analysis - Oracle EPM System 126.96.36.199 Documentation Library which has all the documentation related to SQR.
The SQR developers guide help you in writing code for SQR through notepad if you are not using studio.
After creation then you could refer the previous document provided by Nowshad for publishing in workspace.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for your concern on my issue.
I tried to import the "File as Job" but unable to see "Datasource and Production Reporting Engine" to select in the connectivity section though it was created (created Admininster->Production Reporting Engine).
Also I tried create a job using as "Generic Job" but it was throwing error saying
Unable to perform request
Undefined exception encountered.

Please help me in creating a Job. Also Im unable to differentiate PR Job and Generic Job.
It would be great if anyone can throw some light.
I could able to create "Production Reporting Engine Data Source" and "Generic Job Application" but none of these are not giving output in workspace.
"1300307: The system cannot find the path specified." error thrown for Production Reporting Job and above mentioned error thrown for Generic Job

You need to add the Production reporting engine and datasource through the workspace screen.Refer the documentation : http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E40248_01/epm.1112/raf_webadmin.pdf page 65.
For PR engine you need to give the path to the sqr.exe folder for which type like ODBCor Oracle ....
Note that generic job is for non-production reporting or non - IR job.
Your reply helped me a lot especially for "Product Location" while creating PR Engine.
I gave Product location as "C:\Oracle\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\products\biplus\bin\SQR\Server\ODBC\bin"
And also created one PR Data Source using ODBC
Now able to import SQR file as Job and Run in workspace only for Normal PRINT output files
When I run the SQR file which has database SELECT columns its throwing below error.
1300307: (SQR 1803) CONNECT failed. Perhaps username/password incorrect.
SQR: Program Aborting.
The above same credentials are working fine for Normal Startup SQR program which does not have any database specific commands.
Created PR Database Server with below details:
Job Service Host: machine name
Host Type: Intel pC/Windows NT (installed in Windows 7)
Database Host: my Machine Name (local database)
DB Type : ODBC
User : hr
Datasource: hr32 (ODBC DSN Name which is connecting to hr user)
No connection Parameters given.
Please help me in this regard.
What happens if you run the report in the client or in the SQR Server in command line ?
Also the workspace /RAframework should be installed in a server machine as it is not supported with client version Windows 7.
