So if we install in Compact Mode then we can install in Distributed environment .
In Compact Mode RAM consumption will be less and performance will be more but compact mode is not recommended for Production setups. Is there any reason about this ?
What are the problems if we go with Compact Deployment ?

I am not a fan of compact deployment unless it is for POV, training, laptop sort of deployment where you need to save on resources, on servers RAM shouldnt really be an issue these days.
The way I see it is would you really want all the web applications sharing one JVM, what happens if one web application causes the jvm to crash you end up taking everything down or one app starts consuming all the resources, also I wouldn't say one single JVM is going to outperform multiple JVMs

Other than this JVM problem, it is fine to have Single Managed Server for Production box also in some cases .
