We migrated our DRM server recently to a new datacenter. DRM(Windows server) is talking to Oracle DB in a different datacenter currently. The DRM talks to DB over a firewall and this would be the temporary setup for few months till the DB is migrated to the same datacenter.
After migrating DRM, the basic operations seems to work fine. There are some issues in the nightly jobs while running DRM exports.
The nightly job which is invoking DRM batch client for producing DRM exports is failing sometimes with following errors.
=> Error: The URL net.tcp://localhost:5210/Oracle/Drm/ProcessManager is not valid.
--> An error of type 'EGatewayConnectionError' occurred while running Blend. Error message: Error received from DRM Process Manager service using address: net.tcp://localhost:5210/Oracle/Drm/ProcessManager/: Error received from DRM Process Manager service using address: net.tcp://localhost:5210/Oracle/Drm/ProcessManager/: The inactivity timeout of (00:01:00) has been exceeded.
We are unable to logon to DRM webclient as well. There seems to be database connectivity issue between DRM and DB server after a while if the DRM is inactive for sometime.
After restarting DRM services (in config console), everything seems to work, even though the exports are generated properly.
Can someone help me to get to the root cause of the issue? Has anyone experienced such issues?
Would increasing timeouts in DRM config console help here ?
