    Continuously server disconnection

    user10654662

I have a new unicast cluster installation with Weblogic 12.1.2. Every 5 minutes I get a set of log entries saying that the server is disconnected, then connected...

I've also tried to change the cluster from unicast to multicast, with the same result. Both machines are in the same network, even worse, machine number 1 has the administration and one of the managed servers and also loses the connection.

I don't know where I have to start searching, I have others weblogic instances running with similar configuration but with versions 10.3.2 and 10.3.6 and this error never happend.

Please notice that, even if the message is not classified as "Error" this leads into an error if I make a deployment in the cluster at the same time that one of the members are disconnecting..

      Any help is appreciated.

Please try all the below action plans to drill down on the issue:

          1. Check the managed server instance logs to see any suspicious error thrown that could have caused the server to disconnect

          2. Also check with your network team on any issues in your environment

          3. You could also run a simple multicast test utility in your environment to check if multicast works fine or not

Please check the below doc and share the results

Using the Oracle WebLogic Server Java Utilities

          4. To troubleshoot the issue further , you can also below debug flags on all the servers in the cluster.

          -Dweblogic.debug.DebugCluster=true

          -Dweblogic.debug.DebugClusterHeartbeats=true

          -Dweblogic.debug.DebugClusterFragments=true

Change the logging severity to Debug

          Servers-->Server_name-->Logging-->Advanced-->

          Standard out :Severity level:Debug

          Log file :Severity level:Debug

          hope it helps!!

          regards,

          Vijaya
