I do not think the setup you did is using the JDBC drivers when running reports.
See the following oracle reports document that will show you a real example.
How to Test Oracle Reports 11g Connectivity with Microsoft SQL Server (Doc ID 1561946.1)
For more details please check Reports 11g documentation
Thank you both for your answers. They helped me out.
I can now see if anyone is using the pool I set up.
But as you said, Roberto, my setup is not using the connection pool.
Do you have any idea how I can connect the auto generated Oracle Reports (from Reports Builder) with the connection pool I set up in the administration console? that would be awesome!!
anyone? I want the report to use a data source (connection pool) but I don't know how
Do you see anything in the Datasource monitoring screen?
If you see anything different from 0 you can know if at least the datasource is used.
Please let us know.
Try posting this question to the Reports forum, they should confirm if WLS Datasource can be used with Oracle Reports.
yes i checked the monitoring tab. connection pool data source is not used when running the report. i will try to ask in the reports forum, thank you!
