Thanks Manikandan, this is nice but my requirement is a bit different.
The requirement is to navigate to a different sheet (like we have in excel) , so is there a way to navigate to another layout using hyperlink ?
Please follow this
1) If you are having multiple layout attached to a report.
View Report -> Click on layout name -> Click Action icon (right top) -> Click Share Report Link -> Current Page
In similar way, generate a link for all other layouts.
2) In Master RTF template where you have the Table of Contents
Select the word and Insert Hyperlink (Right clik -> click hyperlink) -> Provide the link that were generated in the previous step.
3) Please make sure in Hyperlink window -> Click Target Frame and select "Same Frame"
It will work on Layout Editor as well. I hope you would have provided the link in Properties/Misc/URL section.
But it will open in a new window/tab.
I am using a Text Item for the Contents...so I dont have Properties/Misc/URL option.
I am just inserting a link by selecting the text.
Please let me know the purpose/requirement of using Layout Editor.
If your data set source is of SQL type, you could hard code your static text in a select clause and bring into template as a field and try Properties/Misc/URL option.
My Table of content is static (It is not derived from a DB) so I want to use Text Items
But each line in Table of Contents should be a hyperlink to individual reports. Basically the Table of Contents is a link to each of the N number of reports.
Hope this clarifies the requirement.
Yes, I understood that. Please try this with RTF template?
