    PR Approval Mapping

    Migs_Isip

      Hi, I have a Defined Heirarchy in Purchase Requisitons (PR_HEIR_1).

      PR_HEIR_1DEPT_HEAD
      SR_MGR_ASR_MGR_BSR_MGR_CSR_MGR_D
      SR_SV_ASR_SV_BSR_SV_CSR_SV_D
      JR_MGR_AJR_MGR_BJR_MGR_CJR_MGR_D
      JR_SV_AJR_SV_BJR_SV_CJR_SV_D
      REQAREQBREQCREQD

      I have defined multiple positions for some employees so that it could be defined in the heirarchy multiple times:

      NAMEPOSITIONS
      PERSON1REQAREQBREQCREQD
      PERSON2JR_SV_AJR_SV_BJR_SV_CJR_SV_D
      PERSON3JR_MGR_AJR_MGR_BJR_MGR_CJR_MGR_D
      PERSON4SR_SV_A
      PERSON5SR_SV_B
      PERSON6SR_SV_C
      PERSON7SR_SV_D
      PERSON8SR_MGR_A
      PERSON9SR_MGR_B
      PERSON10SR_MGR_C
      PERSON11SR_MGR_D
      PERSON12DEPT_HEAD

      When I create a PR, it should be

      REQB -> JR_SV_B -> JR_MGR_B -> SR_SV_B -> SR_MGR_B -> DEPT_HEAD

      however the Oracle maps the heirarchy upon submission of PR:

      REQB -> JR_SV_A -> JR_MGR_A -> SR_SV_A -> SR_MGR_A -> DEPT_HEAD

      It's fine with JR_SV_A and JR_MGR_A because it's the same person,

      but i think PR Maps the heirarchy based on the person's primary assignment.

      Any Ideas?

      Thank you very much!
