I don't understand your question.
Do you want to write emails into the Collaboration Suite database or some generic database?
Or do you receive some emails at a non-OCS system and want to use the OCS API to write the mail into a database?
Can you be more precise what you want to achieve?
I write the emails for all my clients into OCS database.
For one of them (e-mail count: firstname.lastname@example.org) I need to copy the content of his mails (including attachments) into my generic database.
Brief: I need to send/receive e-mails form/in my non OCS database. Send e-mail from database is not a problem but I can not find a good way to receive e-mails in my non OCS database.
You cannot receive emails in a database. Even with the OCS you cannot receive emails in the database! With OCS the relevant mail processes (imap, pop, smtp) provide a means to store and retrieve emails from the tables in the database. They act as an interface.
What you can do is to extract the mails for this user (headers, body, attachment) and insert the data into similiar tables in another database. However you should use the email API for this and no standard SQL as this is not supported.
Could it be you are looking for a forwarding mechanism to another email account ? If so, use server side rules, which should fire on arrival, action bcc:email@example.com
Did you have any luck with this? I have the same requirement?
