FDMEE provides Open interface Adapter to integrate with any source not supported natively such as other modules different than GL (AR, AP, Projects...)
Can you share some useful documents on how to setup the open Interface adapter and also the procedure to populate inventory data into interface tables.
the FDMEE admin guide has a detailed guide to configure Open Interface Adapter.
You also have an example of BefImport Script for Open Interface Table.
Please, mark this question as helpful/correct so others can see its feedback when similar questions.
I have made the setups in FDMEE for Open Interface Adapter, apart from this
Do I have to verify any connection details in FDMEE?
Once you configure Open Interface Adapter in FDMEE you will have to populate the Open Interface Table.
If you are using ODI for that you would have to configure connection with source in ODI topology
If you are using BefImport Script you would have to open the database connection in the script as admin guide shows.
I chose to use ODI for populating open interface table.
Currently I have populated the open interface table using sqldeveloper.
How do I configure the ODI connections in topology? And What is the data servers I have to connect to?
Then you should follow instructions in section Customizing ODI to Load Data from a Custom Source of admin guide.
For configuring ODI Topology, I would recommend creating dataserver/physical server/logical schema for your EBS and not reuse EBS_DATA_SERVER which is used for prepackaged EBS GL integration. Then you can reverse your VIew or any table you are going to use in the ODI Interface
To populate the OI Table you can use Model for Open Interface Adapter: AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE
I have successfully populated the open interface table using ODI studio.
The issue is, I'm not able to select the calender field in dataload rule navigator.
Calender appears to be a mandatory field and on clicking the search icon nothing is displayed in the pop up window.
I know I'm missing something in between, please provide the appropriate steps to be followed.
You need to define source period mappings for the open interface adapter. There you will set the calendar name.
I would suggest you close this thread if the initial question is already answered. New questions should be asked in a new thread so everybody can track them.
