PVCS Version Manager support

471058Feb 5 2006
I have seen that Oracle JDeveloper 10.1.3 now supports Serena Dimensions for versioning. What about Serena PVCS Version Manager 8.1? Are there any plans to integrate JDeveloper with the PVCS Version Manager?

I have the same problem and checked the site. I have unlocked all users (sys, system, xdb) and all users have there own password. I know the passwords and got the same error (only in english ) if I connect with sys or system (with or without "as sysdba"). The error message: Authentication Required https://localhost:5500 is requesting your username and password. This site says: "XDB". This box also appears if I use the rigth xdb-User and password.

For the system user did you try using a password of manager ?

That's usually the initial default value and the documentation states :

enter the password specified when the database deployment was created

I may be misinterpreting the document, but it's worth a try

Hi all,

I was able to connect to the dbconsole with system, password at install, kept container blank and did not check as sysdba.

...

I can also connect to the dbconsole with sys, password at install, checked as sysdba, kept container blank.

...

You can drill into the PDB from the CDB once you are connected.

...

I'm in the same boat.  It works upon install  but after that if I shut down and come back.... I start lsnrctl and startup my database and when I go to login to em it gives me the XDB login popup.  I've tried so much to no avail, any luck on anyone elses end?
