In the stored procedure in the FDMEE database or another database?
Category, PeriodName, and Year are FDMEE context parameters so you could get them from there.
working on same requirement.
Its on different database basically CALC MANAGER database in which we have a stored procedure which we need to call from our AftLoad script after execution of data load and pushing 2 variables as well (Loc_Name & Year)
Yes its on a different Database in which i have my SP which will be called from our Aftload script. I need pass 2 values to the SP - LOCNAME and Year . Regards , Roshi
so remember that Jython is Java implementation of Python. You can take as a reference the sample script in the admin guide to insert data into the Open Interface Adapter to see how a DB connection is opened using JDBC.
To execute a stored procedure you have some options:
- Option 1: use execute method of java.sql
- Option 2: use CallableStatement Interface (I would recommend this one as it's more flexible)
Here you have some useful links (they are mainly for Java so you would have to adapt to Jython)
Note: if you want to avoid opening the SQL connection in the script you could create a dblink/linkedserver and synonym. In that way I think using fdmAPI.executeDML would work.
