41EA1 - Strange characters in the output of the desc and info commands

    dhalek

      Hello out there,

ich just came upon some strange output from the desc command in the announcement of the info command and in the output of the info command itself:

Try the new information command:  [37minfo dt_Abo_umsatz_info [m

These characters look like old console control sequences, where the preceding escape character is missing or swallowed by the output window.

The info command produces even more of these:

      [1;40;97mColumns [m

[1;40;4;33mNAME                  DATA TYPE       NULL  DEFAULT    COMMENTS

      [m [1;40;91m*ABO_UMSATZ_INFO_ID    [mNUMBER(9,0)     No

      RH_BEDIENERKODE      CHAR(4 BYTE)    Yes

      INFOTXT              VARCHAR2(100)   Yes

      RH_ERSTELLUNGSDATUM  DATE            Yes

      [m

      [40;1;37mIndexes [m

      [40;4;33mINDEX_NAME                    [m [40;4;33mUNIQUENESS   [m [40;4;33mSTATUS   [m [40;4;33mFUNCIDX_STATUS   [m [40;4;33mCOLUMNS              [m [40;4;33mCOLUMN_EXPRESSION   [m

      DB96C.PK_DT_ABO_UMSATZ_INFO  UNIQUE      VALID                   ABO_UMSATZ_INFO_ID

      [40;1;37mIndexes [m

      [40;4;33mTABLE_NAME      [m [40;4;33mCONSTRAINT_NAME                  [m [40;4;33mDELETE_RULE   [m [40;4;33mSTATUS    [m [40;4;33mDEFERRABLE       [m [40;4;33mVALIDATED   [m [40;4;33mGENERATED   [m

DT_ABO_UMSATZ  FK_DT_ABO_U_RS_UMSATZ_DT_ABO_U  NO ACTION    ENABLED  NOT DEFERRABLE  VALIDATED  USER NAME

Do I miss some kind of preferences here to enable (I think) colored output in the log? Or the other way around, is there a way to disable these broken escape sequences?

Or is that simply a bug?
