    Oracle application adapter not receiving message from the Hub queue

    486546
      We have published a message to the hub using DB adapter but on the subscribing side OA adapter is not receiving the message. Also istudio generate a blank types.sql file. The adapter is installed properly and the application has been successfully subscribed to the event

          Soubi,

          You need to add some "intelligence" to the generated iStudio *.sql files.

          Edit the generated iStudio *.sql file, and add some code

          For example,

          ------------------------------------------------------------------
          PROCEDURE sub_Create_Employees_OAI_V1(
          EMPLOYEE_NUMBER IN LONG,
          START_DATE IN DATE,
          LAST_NAME IN LONG,
          FIRST_NAME IN LONG
          )

          AS
          dummy NUMBER;
          -- fill declarations here
          BEGIN
          -- fill code here
          INSERT INTO DB1USER.PER_ALL_PEOPLE_F
          (
          EMPLOYEE_NUMBER,
          START_DATE,
          LAST_NAME,
          FIRST_NAME
          )
          VALUES
          (EMPLOYEE_NUMBER, --the argument from the above procedure
          START_DATE, --the argument from the above procedure
          LAST_NAME, --the argument from the above procedure
          FIRST_NAME --the argument from the above procedure
          );

          COMMIT;
          dummy:= 0;
          END sub_Create_Employees_OAI_V1;

          Run this *.sql file is the same schema to which the DB Adapter is connecting. (Check your adapter.ini file and look for the entry starting with
          db_bridge_schema1_writer_username=
          This is the user against which you create this subscribe procedure.

          On the subject of the *types.sql file. If it is blank, then ignore it. It will only contain a TYPE creation script if you have designed array message types.

          I'll send you a Simple DB to DB example zipped file with a worked example and code.
