        Yes, this is done through field merges and as far as i know there is no limit on how many you can have in the URL.
        When you add merge fields your link will look like following:

        <a href="http://aspecificlandingpage?email=<span class="eloquaemail">EmailAddress</span>&geo=<span class="eloquaemail">Zip_Postal</span>&.....   on so on.

        One thing to note is that field merges don't work as expected when you turn on link tracking.

        hope this helps...feel free to shout if you need more info.

          As mandar indicate, you can include as many field merges as you need in your URL.  However, if you want to make it clickable in your email, you must also change the outer quote character to a single quote.

          After you include your field merges and have something like:

          <a href="http://aspecificlandingpage?email=<span class="eloquaemail">EmailAddress</span>&geo=<span class="eloquaemail">Zip_Postal</span>&...">your text here</a>

          You must change it to be

          <a href='http://aspecificlandingpage?email=<span class="eloquaemail">EmailAddress</span>&geo=<span class="eloquaemail">Zip_Postal</span>&...'>your text here</a>

                       ^                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   ^

            Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding where to edit in the source. Do you know where in the source to write "Click here"? I have a field merge with a unique URL and I do not want the reciever to see the unique URL but "Click here".

            The NO_SW_unikURLCommunity1 is the fireldmerge wich get the Unique URL from the contactcard. Would appreciate any help on this.

              The user will see the text that between an element that is opened and an element that is closed but not inside any other elements. For example here's a piece of code:

                   <a>Click here</a>

              <a> opens the a element. </a> closes the a element. The text "Click here" sits in between. The user will see the text "Click here"

              Your goal is to make the text "Click here" clickable with a link that will take the user some place else. Here is an example if you wanted the user to go to Google.com.

                   <a href="http://www.google.com">Click here</a>

              What follows href= is the linked surrounded with quotation marks.

              Now your goal is to replace the link to Google.com with your custom field. You can't just stick the custom field as link that follows the href. You have to stick it inside another element so that Eloqua knows to go inside its databases and pull the URLs as needed. It'll look something like this.

                   <a href="<span class='eloquaemail'>NO_SW_unikURLCommunity1</span>"</a>

              Single quotes seem to work better (or no quotes at all).

              That data-targetytype is something Eloqua adds if there's tracking, as far as I can tell. I don't know much about it.

                  Would this work with signature layout user fields?

                    Hi All,

                    I'd appreciate your help regarding a similar issue I'm having:

                    we have CDO which is being populated by our DWH, a CDO record contains a URL which is personalized for the contact.

                    meaning. for example, for John its:

                    http://www.testwebsite.co.il/he-il/Benefits/BenefitsPlus/Atractions/Pages/HhameiGaash.aspx?elqCampaignId=30042018&utm_source=nl_personal&utm_medium=email

                    this URL is embedded in a merged field:

                    <table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" dir="rtl" width="580">

                    <tbody>

                    <tr>

                    <td height="21"> </td>

                    </tr>

                    <tr>

                    <td>

                    <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" dir="rtl" width="580">

                    <tbody>

                    <tr>

                    <td height="184" valign="middle" width="237"><a href="<span class="eloquaemail" >BENEFITPAGEURL11</span>" target="_blank"><img align="right" alt="-" border="0" height="184" hspace="0" src="~~eloqua..type--emailfield..syntax--DOMAIN_PAGE_IMAGE11..innerText--DOMAIN_PAGE_IMAGE11~~" style="display:block;border:none;" vspace="0" width="237" /></a></td>

                    <td align="center" bgcolor="f7f7f7" height="184" valign="top" width="343">

                    <p style="margin:30px 0px 0px 0px; padding:0px; font-family:Arial, sans-serif; font-size:20px; line-height:20px; letter-spacing:0px; color:#253c62; direction:rtl; font-weight: bold;"><span class="eloquaemail">BENEFIT_PAGE_SUB_TITLE11</span></p>

                    <p style="margin:10px 0px 0px 0px;padding:0px;font-family:Arial, sans-serif; font-size:18px; line-height:20px; letter-spacing:0px; color:#253c62; direction:rtl;"><span class="eloquaemail">BENEFIT_PAGE_TITLE11</span></p>

                    <p style="margin:40px 0px 0px 0px;padding:0px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><a data-targettype="webpage" href="<span class="eloquaemail">BENEFITPAGEURL11</span>" target="_blank"><img alt="לפרטים" border="0" height="23" src="http://img06.en25.com/EloquaImages/clients/LEUMICARDLTD/{d914affb-3b00-4c97-9718-f9bc017fb52e}_btn.jpg" width="121" /></a></p>

                    </td>

                    </tr>

                    </tbody>

                    </table>

                    </td>

                    </tr>

                    </tbody>

                    </table>

                    the issue I'm having is that the URL clicks are not counted,

                    I've tried to add the "elqTrack=true" both in the CDO URL and also in the merged field code but I still can't track those URL click throughs, maybe I'm adding it in the wrong line, i see 2 lines with "eloquaemail"

                    thanks!

                    Assaf
