Did the statement disappearance happen to coincide with your usage of Oracle Instant Client. SQL Developer uses the JDBC proxy functionality in its embedded JDBC library? It depended if instant client also supports the same functionality. Often packages are dropped to same space.
Yup, I've noticed the same - don't reference a < 12 client in the Advanced preferences if you want the Statements feature to be available.
Dwhittin-Oracle: thank you, you're right, without the instant client, Statements log appear and works as intended.
You saig not to reference "<12 client". I was using a 22.214.171.124 Instant client. Is it likely (or at least intended ) that in the 4.1 release, using this, or any current instant client version will not kill the Statements log functionality?
Don't reference a client older than 12.
The Instant Client might lack the libraries needed to support this...will track down and find out.
