    Unable to use UNC when runnning a SQL script???

    Murray Sobol

      I am trying to run a SQL file using UNC naming conventions;

      Here is my command:

      @"\\kit-filer2\shares\Kitchener\DBA\DatabaseAdmin\Staging Area\SMARTsoft\Empty Database Scripts\Oracle\17.00\Service Pack 4\crtables.sql"

      and here is my Script Output:

      Error starting at line : 1 in command -

      @"\\kit-filer2\shares\Kitchener\DBA\DatabaseAdmin\Staging Area\SMARTsoft\Empty Database Scripts\Oracle\17.00\Service Pack 4\crtables.sql"

      Error report -

      Unable to open file: "\\kit-filer2\shares\Kitchener\DBA\DatabaseAdmin\Staging Area\SMARTsoft\Empty Database Scripts\Oracle\17.00\Service Pack 4\crtables.sql"

      I believe that this functionality existed in prior versions of SQL Developer (3.x.x).

      Obviously, the file exists at the link shown.

      Hopefully, this is just a bug in 4.1.0.17; it is (after all) an "Early Adapter" version.
