    window functions?

I need to rank a column. In TSQL this would be RANK() OVER () AS 'rnk' or some such but this doesn't seem to be working in Oracle SQL Developer. Is there another syntax to perform this function or does Oracle SQL Developer not support window functions?

Does anyone have a clever way of simulating a rank?

Thanks in advance for your help.

What does Sql Developer have to do with it?

          What does 'not working' mean?

Sql Developer, as a tool, submits your query to a database. The database is then responsible for parsing and executing that query and for supporting whatever syntax you are using.

If you have a problem using Sql Developer you need to:SHOW US not tell us)
