I have tried same metalink and few others, as per them it asks to put the jar file into OA_HTML/WEB-INF/lib and bounce middle services, but it didnt work for me. I still dont see the jar files in class path. Here are the metalink followed.
can you send me exact steps you followed to make them work?
Developing and Deploying Customizations in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (Doc ID 1577661.1)
How to deploy customizations that are created in the package oracle.apps.xxprod.* rather than xxprod.oracle.apps.* or xxprod.oracle.apps.xxprod.* on EBS 12.2.X? (Doc ID 1609939.1)
How To Add Classes To The Classpath In The 12.2 E-Business Suite File System (Doc ID 1331703.1)
As per the metalink docs, you have to copy debug/custom class files along with the package structure to OA_HTML/WEB-INF/classes or create a jar of debug classes and copy it $OA_HTML/WEB-INF/lib.
For Creating a custom jar file and making it available, Please refer below which is mentioned earlier -

I have followed the same steps but still when I try to reference classes from the jar using 'import com.xyz.*' its not working. I am sure jar might not be loaded in run time classpath.
Earlier release I was able to see the jar loaded in runtime classpath by using 'system.getproperties'. When I do the same in 12.2 release it doesnt show new jar file added.
Since 12.2 uses ebsProductManifest , do you any different way to make sure if jar files are loaded into runtime classpath? I dont even see ebsProductmanifest.jar in classpath printed using 'system.getproperties;
