sqlcli4.2 not working

KToraMay 14 2015 — edited May 14 2015

I have been using the early adopter versions of SQLcl and have been enjoying the features. I cannot get the latest version to run. I get the following error when running the "sql" command: Error: Could not find or load main class ;..\..\jlib\orai18n.jar;..\..\kdbc\lib\ojdbc6.jar;..\..\jlib\orai18n-utility.jar oracle.dbtools.raptor.scriptrunner.cmdline.Sqlcli

I am running this on a 64-bit Windows 7 PC with java 1.8.0_31. I am able to run sqlcl v4.1 fine. I am also able to run SQL Developer 4.1 fine. I have included the path to the SQLcl executable (C:\Oracle\sqlcl\bin) in the PATH environment variable. I notice sqlcl4.2 has an additional directory (classes). Do I need to adjust me PATH or any other environment variable?

Yes, you can connect to Oracle Database 12.2 using node-oracledb.

Note if you are using the Exadata Express Cloud Service, grab the updated Instant Client: http://www-content.oracle.com/technetwork/database/database-technologies/scripting-languages/cloud-3080568.html
