Availability of SQL Developer with embedded JDK

SQL Developer 4.1 was released a month ago.

As i can not install Java 8 on my system without maximum pain, i wait anxiously for the release of a version with embedded Java.

Does anybody know when this will happen?

Sounds like the statements from Blizzard :-)

I hope Oracle "soon" is more soon than blizzard soon.

We don't comment on release dates, never have, never will.

We know folks want it. We want you to have it. Decade, century, or millennia does not apply here.
