    General SQL error

    2635362

      Hi,

      in our network we have somme issues with our Oracle database connections.

      We have our Oracle 12 server running in the x.x.1.x networksigment.

      Our clients run in x.x.1.x and x.x.2.x networksigment.

      We often see that the client has lost connection with our database and we can't find why.

      The error message we receive are like:

      General SQL error. ORA-00936: Ontbrekende uitdrukking,

      Error code: 10053,

      An error occurred while attempting to initialize the Borland Databse Engine (error $2501),

      General SQL error.ORA-03114: not connected to ORACLE,

      Lost communication with SQL server. ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel,

      Connection failure,

      In our server SQLNET.ORA is:

      SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)

      SQLNET.EXPIRE_TIME = 0

      On the client SQLNET.ORA is

      SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS)

      NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH= (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT)

      SQLNET.EXPIRE_TIME = 1

      Who has a suggestion that solves out problem.

      We are not Oracle experts but we can do a little
