    License question

    497353
      Hello,

I have a question about the Oracle XE License. I want to use XE in an application that is available over the Internet. The application is for scientific and educational purposes only.

The License sais: "running your applications for your own internal data processing operations". Whats the meaning of "internal" here?

Is it allowd to use XE with Application Express in an internet Application?

      Thank you,
      Markus

Yes - that is allowed. The use of internal in the license agreement doesn't imply that access via the internet is not supported with the free product
