In R12.0.6, in Field Service, to open a given incident number, we had developed a customized form to open the service request form for the searched incident number. To enable this, in the customized form we initialized a global variable (gv_incident_number) with the value for the searched incident number and did personalization in the SR form.
This all was working fine and the searched incident number was coming in the Create Service Request form n R12.0.6 instance.
After the upgrade to r12.2.4 this has stopped working and when we navigate from the custom form to the Create service request form, it randomly searches any incident number and display its content.
Any advise on this?
Did you check the event on which the form personalization is firing in both the instances?
There might be some changes in the seeded form from 12.0.6 to 12.2.4
Even though there are no changes in form personalization behaviour from 12.0.6 to 12.2.4, the behaviour of the seeded form itself can change depending on the version difference.
