I assume u want to audit at the database level since u mentioned about IP address auditing. What is that u want to audit. Client connections etc ?
I reckon u can do that by tracing the client connections in the database listener.log .

We have implemented audit trail in E-Business Suite R-12, and we want to save local IP address in audit trail table through "back_end" trigger or something else.
Do you have any idea about related...?? Or you have any document which relates to audit trailing back end story...??
