I have reset the password of ASADMIN from User Management responsibility but could not Reset ASADMIN password in file system.
I followed "$INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/config/system-jazn-data.xml" path on Oracle EBS R12 but this path was not exist. Although I searched for system-jazn-data.xml file on server and found but there is not entry of :
<display-name>Default Apps SOA User</display-name>

Used by SOAProvider for DB connection

So that's why i could not change the password in file system.
Please reply me how can i change it.

Just add the above entry in this file system with new password value and then restart the service

Many thanks for your reply.
Can you please tell me how to restart service.
Here are many lines in this file. Where i add new entry?
Some of them lines are:

<display-name>system admin role</display-name>

system admin role

Add the entry in <users> value
Thanks for your reply.
There is not any value like <users> in system-jazn-data.xml file.
system-jazn-data.xml file path on my EBS server is:
When I run ./adstpall.sh apps/appspassword command on putty, it gave error like this:
You are running adstpall.sh version 120.22.12020000.7
Please use 'forcepatchfs' option to run adstpall from patch file system.
and when i run ./adstrtal.sh apps/appspassword command on putty then error is:
You are running adstrtal.sh version 120.24.12020000.10
ERROR: Services should normally be started from the Run environment, not the Patch environment
To start services from the Patch environment, you must specify the 'forcepatchfs' option.
Please help me out.
