    ebs R12 RPC3 patch fails at fnd_eid_ddr_mgd_att_vals.x

      Hello All,

I am applying RPC3 patch. The patch failed for the script 'fnd_eid_ddr_mgd_att_vals.x' and in one of the worker's log file found error below. I had to skip the worker to proceed with the patching. Can you please suggest why the query below failed?

          Thanks for the update Srini.

I am doing the second round of patching(PRC3). In the first round of patching(RPC3), I didn't came across this issue. What I don't understand is, why it didn't throw same error in the first iteration?

Likely explanation is differences in data between the two upgrades.

I see something wrong with the base table in both the iterations, observe the column type in both the cases, and this table is created as part of the RPC3 patching.

              Iteration 1: DEV

That's odd - pl open an SR with Support for this issue

So, what's the solution for this? I got the same issue applying RPC 4.

This issue we got here is intermittent in nature. I didn't get this issue again in the next round of iteration.

Actually, I should have checked with Oracle but, I am skipping it for now.
