Oracle Portal 10G R2 - Mixed mode SSL

HeyersMay 2 2006 — edited May 10 2006
Hi all!

I would appreciate any comment on a possible solution for a problem I’m having implementing Portal with partial SSL configuration.

The problem is that this Portal installation holds several page groups serving different applications, all running on the same Oracle 10G R2 installation. What I’m trying to do is having some of these applications running on https:// and some on http://. I can’t seem to find any documentation to solve this problem.

I’ve talked to several people who says you can’t run Portal in mixed-mode. Of course you can have SSO and IDDAS on https and the rest not (or vice versa), but I don’t want the users “popping” in and out of SSL during log-on or log-off. What I’m really after is configuring SSL at page group/application level.

Any comment will be most appreciated.

Best regards,
Martin

I ran : yum whatprovides bugzilla

And this is what it returned on my EL5 x86_64 box:
bug-buddy.x86_64 1:2.16.0-2.el5.0.1 el5_ga_base

You can setup a local repository on your linux box and then use YUM.
