          Please can you provide the environment details. What was the recent changes and was it working fine before?

          thanks,

            In fact I wanted to change the password for weblogic. I did the following steps:

            backup the following files:

            <EBS_DOMAIN_HOME>/security/ DefaultAuthenticatorInit.ldift
            <EBS_DOMAIN_HOME>/servers/<server_name>/data/ldap
            <EBS_DOMAIN_HOME>/servers/<server_name>/security/boot.properties
            <EBS_DOMAIN_HOME>/servers/<server_name>/data/nodemanager/boot.properties

            I started a new session and run $ cd <EBS_DOMAIN_HOME>/bin
            $ source setDomainEnv.sh

            I ran the command $ cd <EBS_DOMAIN_HOME>/security
            $ java weblogic.security.utils.AdminAccount <wls_adminuser> <wls_admin_new_password> .

            then I started weblogic and got the error

            When I was starting the application services, I was getting error for password for weblogic.

            Rgds

              Please check this

              WebLogic Server Diagnostics File is Corrupt or Locked (Doc ID 1059924.1)
