Either (a) your download got correupted - validate this by checking the MD5 checksums against those listed on the download page or (b) you're not unzipping the files using the recommended tool per the install guide, i.e. 7zip
thanks for the reply.
-I have downloaded and tried not less than 4 times. all the time checksum is matching.
- I am using 7zip for extraction , when i try extracting it give error like 'Un expected End of data' . CRC failed.
Are the files names SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip.001, SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip.002, etc?
When I downloaded it I was getting them as SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip (1).zip, SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip (2).zip etc, which confused 7zip.
If this is the case, try renaming them to match 001, 002 etc - but use the checksums to match up which file should be named which.
mv SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip.zip SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip.001
mv SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip\ \(1\).zip SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip.002
mv SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip\ \(2\).zip SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip.003
mv SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip\ \(3\).zip SampleAppv511p-appliance.zip.004
thats the correct answer.
thank you very much.....
One more thing , is it possible to access the OBI of virtual box in location machine ???
You can also add a network device to the VM that uses Host-Only networking, or bridge it to your network and have it join as a "real" machine.
Here's a google search to get you started https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=virtualbox%20access%20guest%20from%20host
This was caused due to the fact the 'image files' were not fully uploaded prior to the site going live, as a result anyone that downloaded the image during this time would have experienced a issue.
This is no longer a issue with the current download
Thanks Pete, good to know.
Wow who'd have guessed...
