    FDMEE map accounts by amount script

    2991084

      Hi i am trying to work with logical accounts so i could map the account by the sum of all of the amounts that are mapped by this rule.

      For example:

      Like 11111*

      then i write the following script in function:

      if CURVAL > 0:

      RESULT = CURVAL

      else:

      RESULT = “Skip”

      as a result the import fails and nothing happens.

      I tried to work around using logical account with NA and mapping the amount with Conditional Mapping script as following:

      Amount= fdmRow.getString("AMOUNT")

      Account= fdmRow.getString("ACCOUNT")

      # Map based on amount

      if (Amount >0):

      fdmResult ="114200200"

      else:

      fdmResult ="215140200"

      the script works only on regular accounts bit not in  logical account.

      in Logical account it always maps to the first account no matter the amount.

      Please advice what to do.

      Thanks

      Alex

          Hi Alex

          Do you want the account to be mapped based on the sign (+,-) of the data, or just want to map the account by the sum of all of the amounts that are mapped by LIKE rule?

          If you want to map the account by sum of all amounts, then simply use NA in the Operator column of Logic Account; this way amount for all the source accounts satisfying LIKE criteria would add up to the Logic Account and you can then map this LA to desired target account.

          Please let me know if this is what you are looking for?

          Thanks
