Weblogic ESS server wont startup after domain extension

    PrazzyJay

      Hi All,

      Weblogic Version: 12.1.3

I have recently extended the weblogic domain to include the Oracle Enterprise Scheduler.

The RCU  and the domain extension went through successfully..

But when I started the server I am getting the following exception on SOA on ESS managed servers.

      What could be wrong?

there is a warning followed by above error indicating that oracle.applcore.config is missing.

            I have added a template from MW/oracle_common/common/templates/wls/oracle.applcore.model.stub.1.0.0_template.jar

It seem to have resolved  oracle.applcore.config and oracle.applcore.model extensions..

But its still complaining about oracle.applcp.runtime

anybody know which template gives this oracle.applcp.runtime??

Ideally I shouldn't have to add this manually..!!

When I created a new domain with admin, soa and Ess all in one AdminServer, it worked fine.

I'll try recreating everything all over again..!

I think I am missing a library that exists in the admin server but not in ESS server.

              Thanks,

              Pras

Were you able to resolve the issue related to- oracle.applcp.runtime ?  Was this referenced in the custom application you built?

                  no solution found yet!

We abandoned ESS and used Quartz scheduler!
