          Hi Ramaraju,

Is this the first time you are running adop=prepare phase after adding custom top?

Can you check - Log: /oracle_homes/archr12/fs_ne/EBSapps/log/adop/20/prepare_20160218_000220/ARCH_archapp1 for more details about error.

Also post the output of adop status?

FYI - You can check the validation information in -

Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2: Validations Performed By the adop Online Patching Utility (Doc ID 1678355.1)

-> 7. Check if custom product tops have been added correctly

          Regards,

          Kiran

                    Hello Kiran,

Yes we used 'adsplice' to create custom application. We followed same document 'Creating a Custom Application in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2 (Doc ID 1577707.1)'

For better understanding where is the log files located for this 'adsplice' utility? That may be help us to check is there any errors.

                    Thanks,

                    Ramaraju

                      Default path for adsplice:

                      $APPL_TOP/admin/<SID>/log/adsplice.log

                            Hello Kiran,

I have find the below mistake in 'xbsiprod.txt' file.

We entered application shortname as 'XBSI'. Actually we have 'XBSI_CUSTOM' previously.

                            # application id, abbreviation, shortname, prefix

                            20003 xbsi XBSI APP

Is there anything wrong if I edit and run gain 'adsplice' utility?

                            Thanks,

                            Ramaraju

                              Kj - Kiran Jadhav

                              You can re-run the adsplice,

As you upgraded from 11i, you should run adsplice using the same application ID and application name as when you originally added your custom application.

                              Regards,

                              Kiran

                                Hi Kiran,

How to remove the relevant entry from the FND_OAM_CONTEXT_CUSTOM table?

We tried with existing application short name and ID. But still facing the same issue. Please advise.

                                Thanks,

No custom product tops related action is required.

Custom product XBSI entry is NOT there in FND_APPLICATIONS table

I have done the below steps, but still facing the same issue. Could you please anyone help us.

                                    • Remove the relevant entry from the FND_OAM_CONTEXT_CUSTOM table.
                                    • Run AutoConfig on all nodes.
                                    • Apply the latest AD-TXK release update pack as needed.
                                    • Run AD Splice to add/register the custom product.

                                    Thanks,
