If after clone still you have source values as nodes, then clean up the fnd_nodes and run autoconfig again
then run autoconfig on both db and apps tier
Please do the following steps.
sqlplus apps/<apps password>
SQL> EXEC FND_CONC_CLONE.SETUP_CLEAN;
Then run autoconfig on both db and apps tiers
No stopping of services or shutting down of anything is required, right?
it is best to stop all application services.
cmclean.sql is no longer supported.
Run autoconfig, then start up the application services.
Do I have to run autoconfig on dbTier as well as appsTier?
One more question: Do I have to stop the application services, then log in as apps user to execute FND_CONC_CLONE_.SETUP_CLEAN? In that order?
Just the apps tier will suffice. The order should be
1. Stop all Apps services
2. Run SETUP_CLEAN
3. Execute autoconfig
4. Start up all Apps services
One more question before doing the steps you mentioned:
I have done some query using apps user on fnd_nodes ....
select node_name,creation_date from fnd_nodes;
It retrieved a node (which is my host) but it didn't retrieve the node that was displayed in the manager log in that error in my original post here (output post processor --> processes -->manager log)
An error occurred while attempting to establish an Applications File Server connection with the node FNDFS_<source_host_name>. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener on node FNDFS_<source_host_name> may not be running. Please contact your system administrator.
That source hostname was not given when I queried from fnd_nodes table...Only the cloned node was displayed.
Is there another problem? Or shall I follow the steps you mentioned in your last reply?
I have done the steps. Nothing changed.
Check values in FND_CONCURRENT_QUEUES table and look for OPP Manager and corresponding Node. Looks like it has wrong value.
Take backup and update the same to correct value
I couldn't find cmclean.sql
It is no longer supported nor can be found in metalink
Is Apps & DB tier is running on single node? Using applmgr (owner of apps tier file system), issue the following command and post the output.
ps -ef | grep tns
This solved my problem. Thanks
