I work also with FDMEE, but I am not an expert.
But I would suggest the following things:
1. Check your Jython script. Especially in line 3, where your Log said. Try to delete the spaces or the tabulator in front of the line and make it new.
In my tests I have a similar problem and I fixed it with changing spaces to tabulator or the opposite round.
2. Have you filed up your period mapping like it below?
These are the options which I would check first.
I hope it will helps you.
Thanks for the inputs
I have defined the period mappings . And to load the aif interface table i have not used any jython script but used odi procedure and inserted this in the open interface balances custom package.
Did you check the batch name.. The batch name in AIF_OPEN_INTERFACE should match with the batch name specified in data load rule

It is all about the Period Mapping. Especially Source Mapping And Application mappings. under Period Mappings tab.
Make sure you have defined proper Source Period Mappings with target period/GL Period as Mar - 2016. In this format 2 spaces are coming. Please check if you have given the same format while defining period mappings.
